What customers say?

“ This place is all right. It was super busy when we went. Lots of families or solo diners. The House Special (large) tasted good but for a large, there wasn't enough noodles or beef items in it. I should have just ordered the regular. Lemongrass pork chop with rice was fragrant. The pork chop was a bit overly charred in some spots. Pad Thai tasted good, but portion smaller than expected. Lots of parking available. ”

“ Crossposting on IG Easily one of our fave restaurants, probably top 3 lol. We've been missing this place since the pandemic started; first day returning and still all the familiar wonderfulness!! I always order my pho with vermicelli noodles, the servers always get what I meant; and adding nothing else but just the soup, the noodles, the meatballs and meat, muah perfecto(that's number 85 on the menu btw) and a side of fresh shrimp rolls with their delicious fish sauce Aside from their Vietnamese cuisine, they also serve Malaysian and Thai food. I still find they are the only restaurant that serve proper Malaysian curry and Roti(I grew up with those Roti k, like I just like it crunchier and my curry with tons of lemon grass) Anyway, we had a very satisfied meal lol, if you are interested in Pho, give this place a chance, you will love it!!! 5/5 for friendly services, lovely people, delicious food!!! ”

“ Had a pleasant experience at Kim Dinh! I love Tom Yum and Satay soup bases in general, and their's did not disappoint. Their Tom Yum chicken rice noodles and Satay beef rice noodles really hit the spot. A noteable appetizer would be their satay chicken skewers, I wasn't expecting them to be so tender and juicy. Their vietnamese drip coffee was rich, flavorful and sweet - completely satisfied my caffeine and sugar cravings. Not bad! ”

“ Good food. Non spicy and tasty. Service was decent too. They seem to cater to their Vietnamese customers more diligently but I dont blame them for the connect. Try their chicken satays with peanut sauce if you can. We liked the pineapple chicken fried rice too. You could avoid the spicy Thai noodles as they were not spicy but rather overly salty. Overall nice place, would recommend ”

“ First time here and ordered a small house special pho, lemongrass pork on shrimp crackers, and a grilled lemongrass pork vermicelli bowl. Service is fast, attentive and friendly. Our favourite dish was the pork on shrimp crackers. It's a light crispy shrimp cracker with vermicelli noodles, pork, pickled carrots and peanuts on it. Great textures and so good with the nuoc cham. The pho is a decent portion but it was a bit bland in terms of salt or fish sauce. Otherwise there was a pretty good underlying beef flavour to the broth. Vermicelli bowl was also a good portion but the pork lacked the grill flavour. Also they don't use thin vermicelli noodles but a thicker rice noodle, somewhere between spaghetti and udon size. Food is a 3.5* but bumping it up because our servers were so nice. I'd come back to try their curry dishes since I saw a few tables order that. Skip the pho though. ”

“ Great looking place with a wood finish, the food is good and hits the spot if you’re hungry. The staff is fantastic and happy to help you if you’re undecided. Seating is a bit limited however if you have a spot you don’t feel cornered in. Presentation of the food is spectacular and looks like the photo. I’ll be revisiting to try a different dish. ”

“ It’s been 10 years now since I’ve been coming to Kim Dinh. Still my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The food is amazing, especially their pork chop rice, beef noodle soup, and the curry beef brisket with roti. The staff are very friendly and sweet. Love the atmosphere here, feels like home. Highly recommend. ”

“ I've been dining here for several years and it is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Markham [ Moccowan and Bur Oak). Every dish on the menu are superb and their Pho soup based is incredibly flavoury. Also, chicken Curry with flaky roti is a must. ”
